The Way Music Videos Should Be

Gnarls Barkley.... (Note the cameo by Gnarls himself, in the kitchen, near the end).

And now you women know why we men are like this. "Treasure your friendship"? Please. When we are bad to you, it is the fault of one of your "sisters," from long ago.

Gnarls Barkley is the man. Remember this? Just so strange.

(Nod to SdM, btw)

"Gnarls" is two people: DJ/Producer Danger Mouse (Obi-Wan in the Star Wars vid) and MC Cee-Lo Green (Vader). Cee-Lo was in the Goodie Mob, but if you like Gnarls you'd probably like his soulful solo stuff better. a compilation of that released a year or two ago.

Danger Mouse has been all over the place in the past 5 years. he first came to notoriety by mashing up Jay-Z's Black Album with the Beatles' White Album, thus touching off the whole mash-up craze. Since then, he's produced the Gorillaz, Beck, DangerDoom, The Rapture, Sparklehorse, & Black Keys. he was scheduled to produce Ike Turner's last album before Turner died. pretty much all of Danger Mouse's stuff is worth checking out.

Nope, I did not know that, I am embarrassed to say.

Thanks! Perhaps I can avoid embarrassing myself in the future.
